Impersonations
Excellent. But, a few notes: 1. Captain Ahab? I assume you mean the character from Moby Dick. You do realize you cannot impersonate a character from a book, right? That’s kind of the point of a book: you get to create your own nuances. When I read this, I picture you doing a generic pirate impression, but with slightly fewer references to the plank, booty, and loot. 2. Bill Cosby: You did this impression before the trip. 3. Dolphins: I want to hear this.I had so much time in the car during my road trip that I thought I should try to master a few impersonations. Seemed like something I should have up my sleeve. Really, who knows when it might come in handy… job interview, trapped in an elevator, whatever.
Anyway, “master” may be a little interpretive, but I had a good time. And for the record, when I performed them for Ashley she was crying with laughter, so… take that for what it’s worth.
Here’s the very impressive list:
- James Earl Jones
- Regis Philbin
- Bill Cosby
- Captain Ahab
- David Puddy
- “I like turtles” kid
- Hannibal Lecter
- The British
- Dolphins
